Beginning Nov. 3, 2026, Welcome to our Virtual Companioning Circle.
You do not have to carry suicide grief alone.
This is a professionally facilitated peer support gathering for adults grieving the suicide loss of a loved one. The purpose is to provide a compassionate, confidential space where survivors can share their experiences, receive support, and connect with others who understand suicide loss.
The Journey
My name is Janice Mead, and I have devoted my professional life to understanding trauma, healing, and the creative process. My graduate and postgraduate research focused on suicide, and my career included work in counseling, addiction treatment, and art therapy. Following my own experience of suicide loss, I now support other survivors through companioning, education, therapeutic meditation, expressive arts, and professionally facilitated peer support. I am certified and trained as an AFSP Suicide Bereavement Support Group Facilitator.
